From Materialism to Misery

"From Materialism to Misery."

Have you ever seen the trick where the table
cloth is snatched and nothing is disturbed too.
But when I snatch the rug from under the feet of
the unconscious it will completely destroy many of you.
What would you give in exchange for the things I've
given you your life and many of you will to keep them.
You see when you pray for those things you're praying
to me not the Most High because you've rejected Him.
Scriptures tell you not to treasure the things of the world
yet you treasure them over each other who you should Love.
These are just things yet they are connected to you and
to get them there's nothing you won't do that I can think of.
You've lied, and killed, you've cheated to hold on to them
and you've whored yourself for things for yourself to gain.
You've sold yourselves over to me for nothing I bought you
cheap for things and money you must be insane.
All these things do is lift many of you up and if I give one
more than the other I can cause jealousy also.
The storms of life should have taught you things can be replaced
but this truth and a true Love in your hearts you do not know.
You have my spirit of greed, get, and gain along with the
lust of the flesh and the pride of life is there mixed in.
Behind these material trinkets that I give to the blind
in return for your life before Yah I get to watch you sin.
You'd steal to get what is worthless soon you will see the
value of the dollar shrink past a penny to be worthless.
You who are caught up into being materialistic you are
going to find out the meaning of misery not happiness.
I'm sending you not only from a false sense of Prosperity
to poverty but from materialism to misery.
The prices are going up and the dollar value is going down
so when the table cloth or the rug is snatched drama you will see.
For you whores your body will be as valuable as the dollar
because when poo hits the fan hunger not sex will matter.
To keep the little you have I wonder what will you do
just how much blood are you willing to splatter.
From materialism to misery is the journey that many of
you are taking but can't see the conclusion of the trip yet.
Because you chose my spirit over that of the Most High you will
feel the pain and everyday you live you will regret.
